and number one for me, at least, you tell guests you're sorry that you only have 3 on tap this week because life got in the way of your brewing schedule.

+1.

You have the AHA forum screen minimized at work and turn your chair so you can see if someone is coming.

You can't possibly walk through a hardware store, kitchen or appliance department and not visualize a brewing upgrade or spare parts.

...your wife apologizes every time she buys soda and juice boxes for the kids and their friends because it takes up room in the beer fridge.

... your sister asks "why do you dress the fermenters?".  Then you have to explain why you stole the kid's painting shirts so you can keep light out of your beer.  Any answer to this question is met with shock and a look of disgust.

... you no longer invite you sister to your house.

... Half of the conversation with the Culligan water softener sales guy is about how the system will affect your brewing water and you know more about water chemistry than he does.

and number one for me, at least, you tell guests you're sorry that you only have 3 on tap this week because life got in the way of your brewing schedule.

When you open up a really good Cabernet, and instead of using an aeration funnel to decant, you put your beer O2 system in your wine to really open it up.....then decant

When you get to know the local brewers, talk water chemistry with them, and then they offer to let you get water from the nano-filtration set up. Of course you select some really good homebrew to share, and then share the recipe when asked.

You wake up in the morning and check the fermenters before the kids.   :o

.....when you have four different freezers at your house that serve four different purposes.

The first thing you order for your new house is a ward labs water sample.

After aggressively pouring a cup of coffee, you've inadvertently stressed about hot-side aeration.

You stop listening halfway through many brewery tours and just read signs, record boards, and box labels.
