Do your dishwashers not clean well enough or am I doing it wrong? We just put the Spiegelaus in the dishwasher and run it. Dry with microfiber and done.

Mine cleans pretty well, but if I take the glasses out and rinse them in super hot water then hand dry, I've noticed head retention is definitely better.  My beers all have good foam, but I guess I'm kind of OCD about it. Or I guess I should say CDO.
You should check this post every minute or so to make sure you spelled OCD correctly.
Don't let the bastards cheer you up.

Every cooler you see is instantly converted to a mash tun in your mind.

Your bookshelf becomes mostly brewing books.

Or your technical bookshelf has a copy of "Brewing Lager Beer" alongside Bozorth's "Ferromagnetism,"  Horowitz's and Hill's "The Art of Electronics," and Hamming's "Coding and Information Theory."

You've fired up the 10-gal with false bottom for the whole-family pasta dinner. Lifting heavy pots is for suckers.
In this same vein: using your old boil kettle for crab legs. What? Who has a pot big enough for crab legs outside of a boil kettle? :)

Freezing sweet corn is so much easier now that you can blanch 3 dozen ears at a time.

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Must agree Sky was a pain. The only other character I have wanted to see disappear from a show that bad is Carl from the Walking Dead. Man, that kid gets on my nerves like off flavors.

Carl is the acetaldehyde of Walking Dead.

When your weekend revolves around your "production schedule."
What? Non travel weekends are brew weekends!

I'll add: when you keep a hydrometer on the kitchen counter. How many of us do this?

^^^I'm guilty of this. I'm also the only one to wash the beer glasses, because only I "can do it right".

^^^^  I'm the sole beer glass washer, too. Gotta be done right.   ;)

my wife and girls know to never touch my beer glasses..breaking one is not going to amuse me >:(

I'm not too attached to any glass. If it breaks, no need to get upset, I'll just grab another set when we break 4!

hombrewers allow guests to consume their beer in style appropriate glassware, only if they understand why you served them that beer in that glass. everyone else-gets a solo cup! 8)

Ha. Solo cups. Thanks for reminding me! I have to pick up clear solo cups for the outsourcing party this weekend. Small gatherings get normal glassware, larger parties get clear solo cups. (I'm not going to serve homebrew in opaque cups! )

you segregate your beer drinking guests into who knows the difference and appreciates great beer and so-so beer. the so-so class always drinks from the keg you want to get rid of (guilty) ;D

EDIT: admit it...you've done it  ;)

Right.  Close friends or family get the good glasses, but I'm plenty happy using clear plastic cups when I'm providing beer for a big gathering of people, some of which I know. Luckily, those functions have gotten fewer and farther between over the years.

When your buddy reminds all of the guys about his Super Bowl party and before responding to him, everyone turns to you and asks what kind of beer are you making for it this year.

Also when Friday rolls around and the first thing anyone says to you is "are you brewing?"
