could have been worse. my mom in buffalo had 6ft..couldn't even find the car.
Seems like Buffalo gets several feet of snow every year while we're still picking kale in New England.

I am not sure what they get all at once in a blizzard, but they get a lot of snow in the Keweenaw of the UP. This is a landmark driving up towards Eagle River MI.

Getting it here now expecting another foot. I actually have worse drift karma this time than during the blizzard:piling up in all the worst places.

Here in Des Moines we are in the bright and pretty phase.  The roads slick as all get out but everything a gorgeous white and sparkly.  Temps are in the single digits so we are still worrying about trees coming down due the weight.

We got around 12.5" Saturday into Sunday with high winds on Sunday.  Lots of snow blowing and shoveling.  It's not supposed to snow again until tomorrow.  I think Winter has finally arrived.

We had 16-17 inches, hard to tell with the drifts. At least it was powdery stuff. Shoveled 3 times yesterday as it was coming down. Two sessions today, under a cerulean blue sky, and the drive and walks are clear. There was no need to go to the gym the last two days!

1 week ago I could see most of my lawn.  7 days later, 2.5 feet of snow everywhere!!  At least I can get use out of the new snowshoes we bought this year.

It's hard to believe that pitchers and catchers report in about 2 weeks.  Of course in previous years, we weren't focused on late January-February football like we were this year.
