Oxy, PBW in aluminum
« on: January 31, 2015, 11:12:10 am »
I haven't upgraded to SS brew pot yet.  Using a 30 qt. aluminum turkey fryer.  Hey, I bought a nice propane burner with the pot at Walmart for $25 for the whole shebang.  Haven't needed to yet, but is Oxy or PBW OK to use on aluminum?
Many of us would be on a strict liquid diet if it weren't for pretzels.

I use stainless, but if I had aluminum I'd do something similar to this process.  http://www.ehow.com/how_5776583_care-aluminum-brew-pots.html#page=0
