Hey, Richard Sherman...how many points did you lose by? (best tweet I say last night)

ha! thats a good one! i think the most surprised face was Brady's as he sat dejected facing almost certain defeat-and then the pick. he looked like he might soil himself he was so shocked and excited.

I didn't pay attention to the Bud commercial since I was brewing a crisp, clean Kolsch during the game so I can party with my friends.

I agree, death knell for "Bud" .

I can't believe they gave Brady the MVP for the game. His interceptions were a major reason why they almost lost that game. Seattle had terrible game plans on both sides of the ball but without those interceptions the game probably would have been a blowout at 42-14.

Carroll really deserves the MVP for the Patriots win. That play should never have been called as a pass play and if a pass play had to be called there's no way on earth it makes sense to throw it in the middle of the field against a goal line defense.

Edelman should have been MVP. Overall, he was the only big standout on the pats.

+1.  Worst. Coaching. Move. Ever.   You have the best running back in the league and you're inside the one. IF they were gonna pass there, it made more sense to use Lynch for a play action (freezing the D) instead of line him up wide and announce what you're doing to everyone. I'd rather lose busting Lynch up the middle every time than lose looking like an idiot.

EDIT -  Or, instead of passing, bootleg the best running QB in the league around the end.

But did you brew it "The Hard Way"...?  (from a control room?)   ;D

That last play was so close to working but Butler made a great play that he'll probably never make again.  If you look at some of the overhead shots, it did look like an easy TD.

I understand the Brady MVP.  He went 37 for 50, had 4 TD's, and 328 yards passing, broke Montana's record for Superbowl TD's.  Unfortunately for Edelman, the receivers make the QB's look good.

What a game...it was a couple hours before I could calm down enough to go to sleep.  Bring on the Duck Boats!!!! Time for a parade!!

Only issue with this is that hr is the 2nd best Rb in the league

Yeah, he didn't lead the league in the regular season (though he did among post season backs). I would argue that he's more valuable to his team's offense than any other back, though.  Nonetheless, you still play to your offensive strength with the Super Bowl on the line. Or run the risk of looking really dumb.  ;)
