Beer Saver on kickstarter
« on: February 09, 2015, 11:45:50 am »
This seems like a good idea if you are like me and drink a large format beer over the course of a few hours. Doesn't look like it will work with champagne or Belgian bottles.

Now, if it could somehow inject a smidge of CO2 for carbonation until the next morning with the cold pizza, that would be awesome.
Many of us would be on a strict liquid diet if it weren't for pretzels.

It looks functionally similar to the Hermetus opener:

I have one of these and they work well.

looks neato, and I'm glad the AE background came in handy, but this particular Aerospace Engineer will keep using these:

(or maybe GaryG could sell his Club Night wig collection and get Pop & Stop for all the Final Round judges? Thanks man!)

I got a bunch of these on the cheap. It's enough to hold a passable amount of carbonation for an extra day or two. It fits on the wider Bruery/Belgian-size crown cap openings, but it's a bit of a stretch (literally). More carbonated beers have occasionally popped the cap off in my fridge, but it's great for things like big barleywines when I have no one to split the bottle with.

The Bruery also sells a bottle stopper for the 750ml champagne bottles. They use them in their taproom  and seem to work well.

That seems pretty nice. I wonder if it's specific to that bottle size, or if it can fit a normal 27mm crown cap longneck and smaller 375mL champagne bottles.

I've seen those champagne deals before at grocery stores.
