I tried TIG back in  80 and 81. I was not very good but could lay down a mean MIG bead.

Now once the shop slows down time to run by my brew stand project by the boss, shouldn't be a problem seeing how we have tons of scrap 2x2 tubing around the shop

I'm working at on a brew stand at work too. We design and build Retail displays. I have a small workshop and a huge bin of scrap metal left over from projects and prototypes. I'm building it to look like its cobbled together and I'm going to strip most of the powder coat off, let it rust a little and then powder coat it clear.

My HLT is held up but some old antique pipe wrenches.

Those are looking nice. I am not a welder, but used to have some good ones do my projects for me.
