3D printing of solid billet aluminum? Not Billet, just 3D print aluminum. quite a bit different.

I have a couple of tap handles that my local bartender gave me.  He took me to the bar's office, where there were about a dozen.  He said they were left by the distributors.  Most distributors are good about taking them back, but every now and them, they just leave them and say, "keep them."  Maybe they have lost the brewery as a client?  Who knows?  But I wouldn't assume theft by a customer or bartender, I would look first at the distributor....including the distributor's employees, who may not be the swiftest sails in the water.

I'll definitely post one once we get them made. He's working for beer and only charging me for the raw materials, so it should be ~$50 per handle.

$50 is a quite a bit. But as long as you like it and you can make your tap handles come back it will be worth it. Normal price is about $20. It is also dependent on qty ordered.

Yeah, I'm only doing 20 of these, so they'll just be for the pub and our in-town accounts. Anything the distributor handles will get a very classy plastic model.
