I made a mandarina and chinook IIPA last year. I made a calculation mistake and ended up with a over 100ibu so it was not a good showcase of that hop. However I just made an american wheat with mandarina and hallertau and it's quite tasty. I really like this hop and agree it can be used for a wide variety of beer. In fact, it made me quit being a lurker
Yeah, great hop. And Curtism1234, what did you not like about Mandarina in your IIPA ? 100 IBU is not unusual in IIPA.EDIT - I could see how Chinook could overpower it though.

I have an APA that is all Mandarina that is a crowd pleaser. The wife thinks it would be excellent in an American Wheat.r

I could get many a hoppy beer hating drinker to like a beer with this.Excited to try the hull melon I just got also.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
We have a "taster's club" at Yellowhammer on SUnday and the Mandarina hop IPA is one I am excited about getting people's impressions one.
Huell Melon is one I think is a step down, but will work well in many beers
