AHA member growth and statistics
« on: March 16, 2015, 02:52:52 pm »
Hi!

I´m a homebrewer from Argentina, currently starting my thesis for university (Industrial Engineer). It is about  setting up a medium sized brewery (around 60BBL), so that several micro breweries can share it and benefit from the advantanges of larger batches and unified distribution without the need of a huge investment.

I am looking to establish that the beer scene here in argentina is following the one in the States, with a couple of decades of delay and adjusted for population sizes. Therefore, I am looking for stats in the growth of the market, but particularly in the growth of the AHA, but all I found was this graph:

http://www.brewersassociation.org/press-releases/american-homebrewers-association-membership-surpasses-30000/

I would really appreciate it, if someone could give me more accurate graphs or detailed information.

Thanks in advance,
Bauti

Have you tried contacting the brewer's association direct, I'm sure they would have the information you're looking for or where exactly its been published.
