Local Tech College Brew Course
« on: February 08, 2015, 12:22:05 AM »
I just saw a spot on the local news plugging a new brew course from the local technical college: Drake State.  The course is a two day certificate program but they plan to get accredited for a two year end-to-end curriculum.  It seems to be geared towards getting into commercial craft brewing but its good to see the local tech college getting involved.

In other news; I visited a local brew pub today where Yellowhammer seemed to be a hot item.  Of the 32 taps avail, 16 had the plugs removed indicating they were the beers being consumed in the room at the time.  I sat at the bar and witnessed Yellowhammer White poured 5 times (counting mine) over the short time I was there.  A very nice Wit beer Keith!  Zum Wohl!

I don't know why the interviewed Ethan when I am a heck of a lot prettier.  :P

Thanks for the mention, man! Let me know when you will be at the brewery next and I'll try to meet you down there.

I think I am scheduled to teach a course at that Drake college thing later this month. Basically an introduction ton Homebrewing.

We're planning on heading down this evening to eat off the Bacon truck and listen to some music. Hope to see you there.
