My company is giving away a year's worth of beer for $1
« on: April 15, 2015, 01:04:40 pm »
Hi everyone!

Noble Brewer is a beer club in Oakland, CA, bringing homebrewers' best beers to life (to make this legal, we partner with a local craft brewery!)

Right now we are doing a contest called "win a year of beer for $1." Follow http://bit.ly/1at4cRR to sign up!

Cheers,

Cathy

I don't get it...looks just like you're selling homebrew. Which commercial brewery is this in conjunction with?

So the way it works it that we find local craft breweries to partner with so that:
-the homebrewer can see what happens when they scale their recipe (we make sure it's scalable first)
-the homebrewer gets to brew with the pros
-it's legal

And then we ship the beer to our beer club members. At that point people can send their tasting feedback back to the brewers but in the future we're hoping that they can communicate more directly (we're really new, so lots to look forward to!)

I'll vouch for them. I've met Claude and Cathy and they are good folks. I didn't get to do my brew day because I was in the middle of moving to VT but Independent Brewing in Oakland did a great job without me.

fl - I sent the heady two weeks ago, you didn't get it? ;)
