Bru'n Water profile for California Common
« on: April 04, 2015, 07:40:03 pm »
I'm getting ready to brew a California Common. Any suggestions on which Bru'n Water profile I should target?  Thanks!

Amber Balanced works pretty nicely IMO.

IIRC I found the San Francisco water profile online.  It was very close to my own so I didn't change anything.  Worth a quick look unless you brewed already.  Amber balanced should be just fine too.

San Francisco water is largely Hetch Hetchy water, which is mountain runoff and nearly mineral free. Great water, but you ignore the probability that the brewery in SF mineralizes their water for brewing. No closer to the truth...which I do not know either.
