5% ABV and 35 IBU...how is it not just a pale ale?
Because "Session IPA's" always seem taste watery to me, and APA's don't.
I just tried this tonight for the first time. I had a taster sampler at a local beer-centric restaurant, along with Hop Hunter, Otter Creek's new IPL and Woodchuck's hopped cider. Pinner was the winner for me, but all four were quite good. Each had a downside as well.
I love the hop character in Pinner. It was juicy and went down really easy. But I did find it to taste a bit watery, especially side-by-side with Hop Hunter and Citra Mantra. I don't know if it's more carbonated in cans, but I think my pour could have used a bit more fizz.
