Brutus 10 Build
« on: May 25, 2015, 03:03:27 pm »
I have the frame built to Lonnie's spec. I used std 2" 304 tubing.
I have three banjo burners I will be attaching with the pilot light this upcoming weekend the gas valves.

My parts list so far include:

Frame cost: $300
Honeywell - SKU:VR8200A2132 - 1/2", 24vac Standing Pilot Gas Valve - $135.90 x 2
Honeywell - SKU:Q314A4586 - Pilot Burner - $45.50 x 2
Honeywell Natural Gas to LP Conversion kit - SKU 393691 - $12.10 x 2
Honeywell ECO Connector Bag Assembly - SKU:393200-1 - $5.15 x 2
Honeywell 24" Thermocouple - SKU:Q314A4586 - $8.30 x 2
Bayou Classic BG14 Banjo Burner 10" - $43.99 x 3
I work for a valve manufacturer so I am not worried about getting the basic valves I need.

My question is what I should include on the control panel. I know this is an open ended question but I am looking to automate this as much as possible. I have two PIDs being delivered when I get back home tomorrow.  All the forums I look up for control panel design are for The Electric Brewery.  I would love to go full electric but at the moment I prefer gas.  My control panel I would like to include the two pumps, PIDs etc.  Suggestions?
