Brown Wheat
« on: May 26, 2010, 07:02:56 am »
I'm considering experiment with my Brown Ale, and adding a touch of wheat.

Has anyone else done this, and does it work, or just end up a bit too funky?

Mike McDole's Janet's Brown Ale uses 1 lb. of white wheat malt in a 5 gallon batch.  This recipe is winning comps all over the place.  But most importantly, it tastes great!!  I feel it adds to the body of the beer more than the taste ( or at least I can't taste it ).
