Fermentation controllers let's see what you got.

Let's see all those fancy or like mine make shift control boxes.

Here is mine:
Old ammo box, two stc-1000's, two outlets wired all up from the diagram on HBT. Not the prettiest looking unit but will do the job.

If you've ever seen a fridge and a digital johnson controls controller then you know exactly what my system looks like.

My other controllers are aquarium heaters for water baths.

How well does the reptile cable heat?  I had a pad already for the one but looking at other options for the second one

Pretty well in the configuration I have it.  It's more warming than heating per se.  It's designed for use inside terrariums, so it does not get hot to the touch (it's more human body temp range), but it keeps the hot side where it needs to be in winter time.  I used outdoor 3M hooks that are made to handle up to ~120F.

Pretty basic - two chest freezers with digital Johnson controllers.  In the winter I add a thermowell and heat wraps for preventing freeze ups in the garage. It works pretty well for me - nothing terribly fancy.  I have considered looking into the core cooler that came out a couple years ago, but my fermenters are 60L Spiedels, so I don't trust the temperature differential from core to outer circumference edges within a fermenter of that size.

I'll second this one. Bought it on Denny's suggestion and it's been so easy and reliable.
