Southern New Mexico Questions
« on: October 18, 2018, 09:28:23 am »
Heading off to New Mexico in November. Checking out Las Cruces and Silver City for the first time. Any recommendations for beer or food?

We will go to the Gila Cliff Dwelling National Monument. Last year we saw White Sands. Stopped at the Owl Bar in San Antonio for a great Green Chile burger, might stop at the Buckhorn across the street this time.

I’m not familiar with that area in New Mexico but my favorite New Mexican breweries are La Cumbre, Marble, and Bosque. I think you can find La Cumbre and Marble almost anywhere, I just found an anni bottle from La Cumbre in Arizona that was really good.
Happy hunting. Anything with green Chile should be good to try.

Those are my favorites too. I found the Santa Fe Brewing beers to be much better when in SF last spring.

Bosque has a taproom in Las Cruces I see from web searches.

There are some local places down south that I will just have to try.

I've been known to have Green Chile every meal of the day.
