Sugar vis. Bru'n water

I've not used sugar in a recipe for a long time.  Does it need to be entered in Bru'n water?

I you are adding it to the kettle after collecting your runnings I assume it would not be necessary.
On Tap/Bottled: IPL, Adjunct Vienna, Golden Stout, Honey Lager
Fermenting: IPA
Up Next: mexi lager, Germerican pale ale
