Home Brewed Baby (#7) - also, I Plan a Special Beer
« on: June 24, 2015, 07:10:19 am »
Okay, I admit it - I originally just wanted to share the news of our newest baby's birth, and to show off the awesome homebrewing onesie that my wife got for her. But then I started thinking about a commemorative beer, and before I knew it, I'd come up with a legit beer-related post.

So, if you enjoy baby/kid pictures and beer musings, check it out.

Great looking family there, all SEVEN kids!!! (I must have overlooked the #7 in the title).  The fact that you have time to homebrew is a feat itself!  Congratulations to you and your wife.  Having been through the c-section procedure twice (as much as a man can go through a c-section) I know it is a little unnerving.  Congrats again!

Congrats! I'm showing this to a friend who claims he doesn't brew any more because there's no time with two kids. ;)

Beer is like porn. You can buy it, but it's more fun to make your own.

Congratulations!!!

Some people react to my 4 kids the same way.  The typical "OMG, how do you <insert any question you can think of here>" .  Seven kids are a big commitment.

And for the guy who says he has no time to brew with two kids, I didn't start brewing until we had three.  I think it was defense mechanism.   ;D

Serious though, good looking family!

Where the heck are we going?  And what's with this hand basket?

Thanks, all!  You have to set aside *some* "me" time... but, truth be told, most of the kids like to be involved on brewdays, anyway.  Stir the mash, do hop additions, munch spent grains, etc.
