North Coast Puck - Petite Saison
« on: June 23, 2015, 08:45:50 am »
Was excited to try this, as a nice flavorful petite saison would be perfect for the hot humid weather we had yesterday.

Unfortunately, I found it disappointing.  Thin and watery.  Too bitter with few other flavors.

It was OK, at best, and I doubt I'll buy it again.  Especially since it costs the same as their other beers, even at 4% abv.  Next time, I'll just get a four-pack of Pranqster.

Look for Jester King le petit prince. It's a great beer and comes in a 750 for $3-5. Damn good at 2.9%

I'm not sure how widely distributed is but out here Smuttynose (Hampton, NH) makes a grissette they call a Farmer's Table Beer or something like that at about 3.5% I believe. Its pretty tasty IMO.

Boring, a true Yawnfest.
