Question about pitch rate.
« on: August 05, 2015, 05:47:18 pm »
Just looking for clarification on pitch rate calculation. When a brewer lists their pitch rate in a recipe, let's say fer the sake of argument, 16. Am I correct in assuming that "16" refers to 16 million cells per ml of wort?

yup. you may be right. I went with my gut and just pitched the right amount. The million/ml seemed to be the only one that made sense and matched up with my calculations.  ;)
