Next year I will tie my personal record for living in the same house, ten years.

I used to be that way with jobs.  The longest that I had ever worked for an employer up until my current employer was 5 years.   I have been with my current employer for almost three times that length, and I have no plans to leave until I retire.

Similar story for me.  I had never had a single job more than 18 months until this one.  Been here 22 years and working on #23.  I had never lived anywhere longer about 12 years before here either (age 6 to 18).  Been in our current house for 22 years also.  Of course we've added on and changed so many things it may as well be considered a different house.  8^)  I own it in 6 1/2 years and have no plans to move anytime soon.
