I'm going to a graduation party in Fruitport tomorrow, I'm wondering how close Founder's Brewery / Pub is? Has Bell's opened a Brewery Pub in GR?
My brother is driving and he doesn't drink anymore so maybe I can talk him into a short visit, he's already the designated driver.

Founders is in downtown Grand Rapids, I'm showing Fruitport near Muskegon, that is quite a ways away.
Consider Hopcat as well, walking distance and an awesome beer selection, plus they also brew their own.

A friend of mine says there's a tiny new brewpub in Grand Haven. They're brewing five gallon batches
, IIRC. I can't remember the name.
It's Hatter Days at New Holland (downtown Holland) this weekend. They break out a bunch of variations on their Mad Hatter IPA

From Fruitport, New Holland Brewing (especially if it's Hatter Days!) and Saugatuck Brewing might be closer than Grand Rapids (both are in or very near beautiful towns and Saugatuck also provides an AHA discount I believe). Check out the Michigan Beer Guide (michiganbeerguide.com) for other possible breweries and brewpubs close by Fruitport. Enjoy your trip to a wonderful part of the state.

To be honest, I'm not sure my brother will do it, he can be a bit of a
whiner
at times anymore and he's my older brother.... he
used
to tell me how he could or would kick my butt... HA!
Well, either way, I'm going to try making some trips down that way this summer so all suggestions are good.
