they look small in the picture but their mostly 5 gallons. the one in the back corner is 15 gallons. These are aging in tertiarys 1-5 years old. There are 7 or 8 carboys upstairs in secondary ready to be racked and aged and mead making season is about to start.

I envy you guys.  I've been so busy writing about beer that I haven't had time to brew for the last few months!  Finally made an IPA about 2 weeks ago that's getting kegged today.  But it's a far cry from my usual 3 kegs on tap and another 3 in waiting.

I'm in this camp, myself. My wife had another surgery this summer so not much of a chance to brew in a while for me. The only beers I've brewed are because I absolutely had to to in order to meet a deadline, a lager for tailgating in a couple of weeks and an IPA I just mashed in on for a competition.

Thankfully, my wife's recovery went well and she is back to work. My son started kindergarten last week as well. Hopefully that forecasts to a chance to make up some brewing this fall. I have a bunch of varietal UK malts coming in and a backlog of new hop varieties to try. Hopefully I can get a bunch of test batches going starting in the next month or so.

We just had a homebrewer's jamboree this weekend in NH...otherwise I'd have the same "problem" as you.  Now I have room for those 2 ciders and doppelbock fermenting in the basement.

had 1st weekend of NFL party yesterday, so may have created some opportunities to brew soon!

i just hit a groove this summer with some efficiency to my brew house. the addition of the hydra chiller and my induction plate has shaved a solid hour or so off my total brew day. not that i'm in a hurry, just made it real easy for me to jam out and brew every week in a shorter time period from start to finish.  feeling very dialed in on my brewing and that's a good feeling. looking forward to some new styles and experiments to shake things up a bit.

That is more mead than I can imagine in one location - good on you!  I thought having 17 kegs was over the top - wait til I tell SWAMBO about it...I might just get up to the 20 mark!

nice fellas.  i have 25gal in kegs right now, 20gal in fermentors and 2 more batches on deck.

once i get to surplus (~40-50gal) i either take a break as i did this summer for a couple months, or use the space to brew something really big and age-able like a RIS or barleywine - just food for thought.

In Alabama we can only possess (in our household) 15G of homemade beer, wine, cider, etc.

My pipeline is 2 batches deep. Most of the time, I have a 3G batch in the fridge and a 3G batch in the fermenter. So, I'm legal.
