So... because I didn't have the foresight to keep records from the last swap, Mchrispen ended up with the same recipient as last time. To alleviate too much confusing, would one person swap recipients with him? First person to quote reply to this post with "I will" send Mchrispen your recipient info in a PM, and he will respond with your new recipients info.

Hopefully that is the only repeat...

Next swap I will have to remember that tid bit of info. Sorry folks

Good job, problem solved. I edited the recipient list above to reflect that change.

Guys and Gal, I'm getting a lot of pleasant banter via PM. I appreciate it, but for fun thats what this thread is for. Feel free to banter away about the Swap right here. If its a private question for me, or info like names and addresses, then please use the PM

Best way? Best I've seen was a box with Styrofoam specially made for the 6 bombers of awesome homebrew I got from an awesome brewer in Texas.

I individually wrap my bottles in bubble warp, and then pack in the box so they can't wiggle around.  Line the box first with a garbage bag, then tie it off once all the bubble wrapped bottles and packing material is inside. In case of a leak, it contains it and keeps them from throwing it away.

Do not use the US Postal Service. I recommend a private shipper such as UPS or FedEx. I'll avoid the debate on rules and ethics, and just say that if they ask me what is in the box I tell them its "homemade gifts." I've also used "yeast samples" when shipping bottles of live yeast in bottles of spent wort to competions that receive their shipments at breweries.

No joke. Your beer was great, Matt - especially that dubbel ! I'd have been happy to drink yours again. Wort-Hog's is no slouch either though, to put it mildly.
