Yes Jon, I am very excited about Amanda's shipment, but drinking it will have to wait, as we will be out of town for a wedding from Friday till the following Sunday.

I forgot to mention that the American Wild Stout has actually been pasteurized. So that beer will taste exactly as it is when you get it or if you decide to save one/both for later. Pasteurizing wild beers when they get 'perfect' is awesome - I've had some of my own wild beer, from a friend's cellar, 4 years later and it was amazing how much it tasted exactly like I had it years before. :o Crazy.

Jon- packaged up a bomber each of Northern German pils, O'Fest, Vienna Citra, Centennial, Cascade, and Amarillo Pale Ale, and Munich Dunkel. Making a trip this week to Great Lakes to see if I can score a growler of Imperial Dortmunder so I can send you a bomber of that. All goes as planned, ship out end of this week.

Love it. I've been drinking a lot of German beers lately. Got a couple in the pipeline, too. Love GL Dort, so I'm betting the Imperial is excellent. I've really enjoyed every one of the beers I've had from them.

My APA I coined GPA is my rendition of what I would think a German might (i say might as they just don't seem to be there yet) produce and drink. hop smooth rendition of the APA.

That's one of the cool things about homebrewing - no partners or shareholders to answer to. We get to do stuff like that ! Sounds good.

Sauvage, collaboration with Green Bench and Trinity

That last one cost as much as all the others combined, so I hope it's good.

You're shipping cologne?  I've heard of people drinking scope, but never cologne...

3 Half Acre IPA's.

What did you get from Half ACre?  I thought of getting some Akari Shogun and bottling it, but my time is sooo limited.  Kids aren't home yet, so here I am back on-line.

I've got some Daisy Cutter on tap in the basement I could bottle up, I suppose.

It was a toss up between Daisy Cutter and Gone Away - I went with Gone Away.  Balanced that with 3 Wild Onion IPA's.

I think this Swaptoberfest is gonna work out pretty darn well.

AmandaK, your/my box full of goodies arrived today and all look to be in good shape. All in refrigerator now, but will likely only have time to try one before leaving town Friday morning. Any suggestions as to what to try first?

Suggestion folks

Pretend they are your beers. let them sit in the fridge a few days. Let them settle. No one is in a hurry, or well, shouldn't be
