Switching posts and using opposite disconnecter????
« on: September 27, 2015, 04:08:31 pm »
I have a broken gas post so I need to order a new one, however I need to get my beer carbed. I have a spare liquid post and have put that on the gas side - I know the gray gas disconnect doesnt fit/work on that liquid post, BUT can I swop the gray for the black liquid disconnect and pas gas through it?

Should work fine.
Only issue I can see is if the threads on the liquid post don't match the threads on the gas side.

Lookily the threads are the same on both sides. Ive connected it and all seems to be doing fine. Only issue is that I have 2 black connectors on one keg and the keg isnt marked in/out, but not really an issue!
