Pressure relief valves: replacing rubber tips

Has anyone done this?  My valves are good except for the rubber tips.

Wow, these babies are expensive. 15 euro in Belgium. But don't think you will find the rubber tips - I didn't come across them when I did my research on revamping 2nd-hand kegs.

Full PRV replacements can be found for about $5 online. I would chuck the old ones and replace.
