Keezer extension limit
« on: October 15, 2015, 07:14:30 pm »
I'm at a point where I need more cold storage now. I anticipate needing even more cold storage next year and I need to do it on the cheap. I'm exploring several different methods but I'm curious as to the limits of the keezer collar extension. Could I use my big, upright freezer to cool a 3'x6'x6' space with 4" of rigid foam insulation on all sides? Would I be better off with a Coolbot and AC unit?
Thanks in advance,
Joe T

Look up mother of all fermentation chambers. Guy built a big box on top of his freezer with ports to blow cold air up.
