Here's my favorite lager I brew (It's the beer I dink the most of from everything I brew)1.05819 BUs73.2% Vienna (Best)25.4% Pils (Best)1.4% carafa Special II (cold soaked added after vorlauf)Approx 19 IBUs German Mangum @ 60About .75 oz per 5 gallons American Crystal hops @ flame outWY2124Dough in 150-152 for 60 min. Pitch at 48 and ferment at 48 before raising for d rest near end of fermentation.
As a side note the recipe I posted, aside from being our #2 selling beer, is also a beer we contract brewed for Panalpina which does a direct flight from Luxembourg to Huntsville. Apparently the beer went over very well in Luxembourg.

Both are very close to this in beersmith and if I brew it and love it and want to enter it, just wondering
Your cold steeping the carafa separately and dumping it in at end of mash?
Cool. Seems like such a tiny amount that I had to confirm.
A good Dortmunder is pretty hard to beat IMO.
