Equal runnings is ~1.1 qt/lb for this beer, and I'm fine with stirring down to right around there, so I'd go with that. For a beer this big, as thick as you're willing to stir. That has the added advantage of making it easier to adjust temperature just in case the bigger/thicker mash throws something off.

Sean when using your calculator, the post boil volume should be volume immediately after boil has ceased correct? So it still includes cooling shrinkage and trub? In other words, for my 6 gallon batch, I should actually enter more like 6.75G?
