The Bruery – Gypsy Tart 11.29.15

Description: Flanders-style brown ale; 8.4% abv

Appearance: brown with tints of dark ruby, hazy, moderate effervescence, no head

Aroma: moderate sourness, fresh berries, fruit juice, hint of funk?, light alcohol, no hops, light citrus (lemon, tangerine?), slight mustiness (damp earth)

Taste: moderate sourness, lactic, light acidity, light barnyard, berry and slight sweetness that fades quickly, no hop bitterness or flavor, dry finish with lingering sourness and acid, woodiness (oak?)

Impression: Enjoyable, gets better as it warms up a bit
