Up on Lake Woebegone, it's sold as "just a little above average" pale ale, but this varies by region, obviously.

Summit Extra Pale Ale is an exception to this naming boondoggle as it's been around for 30 years. Definitely one of my gateway beers into enjoying craft beer. Still so good!
