Incorporating Bru'n Water

Does the upgraded version of Bru'n Water allow editing of the structure and function of the spreadsheet?

I know the free version is protected, and while unprotecting excel sheets is extremely easy, it seems rather unethical to do so.

I would really like to incorporate it into my brewing spreadsheet, i.e. have my recipe section input to the mash acidification tab, have all my volumes, malt colors, etc input as well.

Dang! It  would be great to integrate it into my Excel brewing sheet.

I just use the snipping tool on the summary tab and then put that in my normal brewday notes.

I was thinking more along the lines of my recipe input section, volumes, malt colors, etc. inputting directly into Bru'n Water.

You could use vlookup to pull that data into your sheet and then paste as values to lock them in. It would be more of a hassle then typing them in, but it could be worth it if you are playing with your recipe constantly.

Edit - never mind. This would only be useful if you could add the vlookup to the Bru'n water sheet as well.

It's tough because your faced with a dilemma: Excel sheets are not tough to unprotect but doing so is unethical. I would only be using it for my personal benefit but I'm not sure the legality given Martin's copyright.

I agree 100%. Email Martin and see if he could help you out for a bit of an extra donation.

That was my next step.
