Yes, I made an excellent CAP with some pilsner malt and used some of the pale malt for a portion of both a witbier and an IPA.  I noticed that it didn't keep as well as the imported malts that I have in my shed.  It was softer after being in hot storage for a month or so and I think that may have effected the efficiency.  When fresh it was very nice.

sounds like he needs to kiln it a bit drier still.
