Finally trying the new Ruination. Not bad at all for a commercial DIPA. I like it much better than the new Pale Ale.

I agree, I think Ruination 2.0 is pretty solid for a year round IIPA. The 2.0 Pale Ale, not a huge fan.

Fresh tapped Saison kinda thin on the body cause of a low mash temp....
But leaves you wanting another glass peppery just barely 4 weeks from brew date.
The yeast was from Funkwerks in FtCol.

Had a Sam Smith's Winter Ale last night and probably a Sam Smith's India Ale tonight. It's an English weekend!

I am recovering from elk hunting (it sucks to be old and fat) from this morning with a Murphy's stout and a wee bit of Jamesons.

The local gas station is selling a funky coldpack consisting ten 16.9 oz. nitrogen widget cans of Murphy's stout for $7. That is a good deal.  The stout tastes great.  The boys at hunting camp wouldn't drink it (stuck to Coors) so I got to bring it home. 8)

Elk hunting sounds likes a good time ..... I'm a country boy and enjoy a good hunt.
