very floccy yeast \ trub
« on: November 13, 2015, 02:51:10 pm »
Here's a pic of some seriously flocculated yeast \ trub. It's Safale S04 yeast in an APA from a BIAB one - pot no chill brew I've just kegged. Not worried about it, it tastes OK, but the large flocs are striking..

cheers
steve
I like to keep a bottle of stimulant handy in case I see a snake, which I also keep handy.

S. cerevisiae

S-04 is very flocculent.  The cells stick together like glue.

More like cement.
