Chocolate Milt Stout- need to rack????
« on: November 21, 2015, 09:17:09 am »
I am being some chocolate milk stout and the directions say to rack after a week, then add the choice and bottle in 2 weeks-- seems like the discussions say that racking is not really necessary for these time frames.

Comments?? Suggestions???

just let it be until bottling time -no need to rack to a secondary.

Yes.  Wise advice.  Plus, one week is waaaaaayyyyyyy to short for a beer to be taken off the primary yeast (at least one of modest gravity).
