Anyone ever tried this combo? Planning a pale ale with Marris Otter and WLP002.

Great combination in my opinion. I use them in my saison, and sometimes I throw some cascades in at about 1:2 ratio with EKG for an English bitter. The flavors and aroma are really complimentary.

Cascade does in fact pair well with EKG. In fact, it pairs well as a late hop with EKG with Fuggle, Willamette, or Challenger as the kettle hop.

Cascade works quite well with EKG. Centennial does as well. I made a great ESB last year with Challenger at 60 and 10 minutes and EKG/Centennial in the whirlpool.

Nice, think I'll give it a go. Just debating if I want to hop it pretty heavy American style or lighter.
