Hopefully you don't get any fusel (gasoline) flavors from pitching the yeast that warm.
I do like to use vodka in the 3 piece airlock - just buy a 750 of the cheapest crap you can find and use it up over the course of the years. Better than wasting a shot of Goose
If you monkey around with the airlock or vessel too much, the contents of the airlock can dribble down into the beer. Can bacteria grow in the water in 3 weeks? I don't know. The alcohol in the beer would probably kill anything that got in it. I'd rather play it safe with a 8 dollar bottle of Popov.
