It's about $5 less than I normally see them.

Yep. $5 cheaper than when I purchased 4 of them back in August.

I don't think you will find them much cheaper. I'm pretty unimpressed with most of the sales honestly.

I don't either. I paid about $10 more on the last ones I bought.

Yeah I just am not in a rush. My faucets actually pour pretty well other than getting stuck ever once in a while. Having 1 Perlick and 3 of my current ones will just make them feel bad.

Thats a good price for the Perlick stainless steel faucet. And Steve, I agree, the sales this year have been uninspiring....

Don't pass ventmatics by.  I think they're better than the perlicks.

My issue with the ventmatics is the uncertainty in their future. They came and went before, what's going to keep them from going away again. I hope they do stick around as they are nice.

I have two ventmatics that are 14 years old and I haven't had to replace any of the bits.  I read that they did go through a bad spot but are apparently as good as ever now.  You could always get a few spare rings and seats.  Not much to break really.

I purchased two Ventmatics back in 2013. They were disappointing. Both faucets exhibited leaks and the finish of the metal parts was mediocre at best. They were returned for a refund.
I took a look at the ventmatic website today and it looks like their finally back on track after a prolonged legal battle with Perlick.
The New generation faucets look pretty good.
Unfortunately, the recent product review by Brulosophy has sparked alot of interest so the current lead time is 1-2 weeks for their faucets.
I may have to give them another try.....
