ended up with extra honey from mead, so thought maybe make a honey lager. never used honey in a beer, so looking for some ideas on amount to use, how to use utilize it, and recipe thoughts for a pale honey lager.

I have used up to 1# in a 5G batch. It dries it out pretty good. Flavor impact is subtle if any. As I recall Beersmith did a pretty good job predicting the FG impact of adding the honey.

figured it would work similar yo belgian candy or other. iv ehad a few honey ales and lagers. my wife likes them and likes a local fat heads called bumbleberry quite well. its a honey ale with blueberry that's not too bad at all.

Either of Barry's whitehouse honey recipes are good.

The earlier you add the honey in the process the less honey flavor/aroma will end up in the beer. I add a bit of honeymalt in any honey beer that I brew.

Friday I had some of the Robert Earl Keene Honey Pale ale that was great with authentic szechuan.. There was a honeyed finish in both flavor and mouthfeel to the beer.
Fairly sure they didn't accomplish that with just honey.
Best bet is to prime with honey.
