I've never noticed it, but I haven't looked either. I don't know how one could see the metal with all the grain bits.

They show up in a small amount of sediment that makes it through the false bottom. When I first saw this with my other mill I ran a very small amount of grain through the mill and ran a magnet through it. Same results, little flecks of metal from the rollers.

I use a hose braid, so the whole joint is a grainy mess
