Last minute New Year's Eve idea for beer fans
« on: December 24, 2015, 09:14:55 am »
Everybody probably already has plans, but here's a quick write-up on Stone's New Year's Eve party at Escondido:

Any other good suggestions for the procrastinators out there? (I'm actually asking for myself.  :))

Unless you're in NOLA, it won't do you any good, but the Avenue Pub always has a beer geek pre-NYE event the afternoon of the 31st.  Basically it's a warm up to NYE festivities for those that don't want to deal with the crowds of most 'big events'.  You can either head out to other events, head home, or stick around the pub afterwards.  There are typically several whalez that get brought out.

That actually sounds pretty fun...  I'm thinking of catching a last minute flight out somewhere, or plan it a little better and do it up right next year!
