I love clear beer. The best way I've found to achieve clarity quickly is gelatin, which I dissolve in a small amount of warm water before adding to chilled beer. A recent conversation about alternative methods for using gelatin, particularly whether hydration is necessary, inspired this xBmt. Results are in!

No surprise on this one. I've been using you're gel method for quite a while and its become a standard practice with every beer, though I crash to 30F.
