Yet another reason this is such a great organization...after my email to Gary, I heard back from him even though he's on vacation.  He said this was the first he'd heard of the issue, but they'll get it fixed.  He's back in the office on 1/4, so it will be after that.

I like your thinking!  A great organization would not ask their employees to cancel vacation for something like this.

I'll bet he gets a new copy by the 10th. Plenty of time to still qualify as a Jan/Feb issue

Chinaski, very sorry to hear of the problem with your copy of the magazine. Please send an email to info@brewersassociation.org and our member services team will send you a new copy when they're back in the office on Monday. In the meantime, yes, you can view the full issue on the app or on eZymurgy.

So far, we have not heard from any others who have reported the same problem, so we are hoping it was an isolated incident. Nevertheless, we will check in with our printer on Monday.

Thanks for reading Zymurgy!

Wow!  Jill, Denny, Gary, etc.- thanks for the prompt attention to this.  It does say volumes about the quality of the AHA as an organization.

So, let's start the bidding on this RARE copy of Zymurgy!  Do I hear one bag of Thomas Fawcett Maris Otter to start us off?

Cheers!
C

Too bad he's missing pages 28-60. The bikini brewing pictorial on those pages was especially appreciated at this time of year!  ;)

Well, its not a one of a kind.

Looking at my copy today. Page 1-28, repeat 13-28, then 61-76, then page 61 through 88.

Bummer, no gadget section.

Mine is fine but I learned how much longer it takes to arrive on the East Coast.  :)

I live in Colorado Springs, i joined in December and have not recieved my first issue yet. I am thinking it could have something to do with the misprint mishap? Is it normal to take a few weeks i would assume? I will just be patient i guess, either way i have spent most of my weekend chilling out and reading around the forum, recipes database, and project write ups. Overall i am really happy i decided to join! Alot of good information available on here! 8)

You probably missed the cut-off for inclusion for mailing. However, you always have access via the electronic version. Of course, that includes years of previous issues.

Thanks for joining us. All homebrewers are better off that you are a member. Remember, AHA is our only voice in keeping our hobby intact and growing.

Remember that Zymurgy is published on a semi-monthly basis. You should receive the next issue.
