Whoa! So is there any safe amounts of grapefruit one can consume involving these interactions?

I guess no Sculpin grapefruit IPA for you?

My doctor said "no grapefruit" and I'm not inclined to test the limits.

Dateline: 90 year old man found dead in hourly rate motel with empty bottle of Viagra and an empty six pack of Otra Vez. Man's friend was quoted saying "Not a bad way to Gose!"

Personally, if I want grapefruit taste in my beer I'll get it using hops.

I guess I don't know why it wouldn't be. All I know is that I was told that consuming grapefruit could be bad for me and I don't care to experiment with what part or how much.
