Ian from the Southern tier of NY
« on: January 20, 2016, 01:25:25 AM »
Hey everybody, I was just browsing around the forum and realized I never actually introduced myself so I figured why not. I am Ian from the southern tier area of NY, I have been brewing for over a year and am loving every minute of it. I am a 21 year old college student and I started brewing 1 Gallon all grain kits from Brooklyn Brew Shop. I dream of one day owning a brewery(probably a long way away) but I will always keep brewing. Thanks again everybody who has been so helpful and those you help grow the Homebrewing community. Prost!

Hey there!  I live in Fredonia.  Are you a member of any local brew clubs?

Thanks everybody and it is definitely an obsession, just ask my girlfriend ;). Any way brewinhard I am not currently in a homebrew club, I posted a thread to try to find some close to me because the closest ones I can find are 1+ hours away.

At the moment I live in Alfred NY in an apartment because I am in school. I go back to my house on weekends and holidays when I brew because I doubt my roommates would put up with me taking over the kitchen for a whole day. I saw on my other post you suggested Erie PA but I am quiet far from there 2+ hours. I am roughly an hour west of corning if that helps.
