Hello,

I need some help here. I totally spaced and missed the registration for the national homebrew comp. I there anyone out there who registered for more entries than they'll use? I need two entries and am willing to pay for them. We can figure out logistics.

My advice for you is to do the ethical thing and wait for next year's competition. There are still local and regional competitions you can enter.

I thought someone (Jeff maybe?) checked and the AHA so this isn't allowed and the thread got locked.

Unfortunately I don't think this is allowed and is stated so in the rules. Just like one is not allowed to send beers in to two different judging sites.

From the FAQs on the AHA site:

Q: How can I give some of my entries to someone who didn’t get in?

A: That is a very generous offer, but unfortunately that is not logistically possible. Please see the NHC Entry Registration description for a complete explanation of how the competition registration worked this year.

Yeah, a couple months ago. Some of the mods are unable to spend much time here and they wanted somebody able to be here more regularly.

Just my 2 cents: the op's request doesn't sound unethical. It's just not allowed by NHC.
